Our Practice

Occupational Therapy

OT is specialized, one-on-one therapeutic care delivered by an occupational therapist in the child’s natural environment. This personalized approach focuses on developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help abilities, and functional play, with individualized interventions tailored to each child’s unique goals and daily routines. Delivered in the home setting, therapy allows for meaningful family involvement and real-world practice, enhancing carryover into everyday life.

We strive to empower infants and toddlers through play-based activities that boost fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily function—helping your child thrive at every stage.

Speech Therapy

Pediatric speech therapy helps children develop the communication skills they need to express themselves clearly and confidently. Our services support infants, toddlers and children who experience challenges with speech, language, social communication, feeding, or swallowing.

Lactation Consultant

Our lactation consultant services provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help families meet their feeding goals with confidence. Whether you are preparing to breastfeed, navigating early newborn challenges, or seeking ongoing guidance, we are here to support both you and your baby every step of the way.

We offer comprehensive assessments and personalized care for:

  • Latch difficulties and painful nursing
  • Slow weight gain or feeding concerns
  • Low milk supply or oversupply
  • Transitioning to bottle
  • Pumping guidance and return-to-work planning
  • Support for premature or medically complex infants
  • Feeding support for tongue and lip ties
  • Weaning guidance

Feeding Therapy

Our pediatric feeding therapy services support infants and children who experience challenges with eating, drinking, and transitioning to age-appropriate foods. We provide compassionate, individualized care to help children build safe, positive, and confident feeding skills.

  • Difficulty transitioning to solids
  • Gagging, coughing, or choking during meals
  • Picky eating or limited food variety
  • Oral motor delays affecting chewing and swallowing
  • Sensory sensitivities to textures, temperatures, or flavors
  • Mealtime stress or behavioral feeding challenges
  • Food refusal and food aversions

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT)

A gentle, hands-on therapeutic approach that blends craniosacral and myofascial techniques, through the Gillespie Approach, to release fascial strain, support optimal nervous system function, and enhance overall health.

Practitioners use these gentle techniques with newborns and pre-crawling babies to foster a calmer nervous system and support healthy structural and cognitive development.

For infants, CFT may help address the effects of fetal and birth-related trauma and contributes to relieving common early-life concerns such as colic, reflux, latch and feeding difficulties, torticollis, and asymmetrical head shape by releasing fascial tension.

Newborn Support Package

Supporting You and Your Baby from the Very Beginning

The transition into parenthood brings so many new experiences, questions, and changes. At Devine Therapy, we believe families deserve support, guidance, and reassurance as they navigate the early days of their baby’s life.

Our Newborn Support Package is designed to help expecting and new parents feel more prepared and confident while supporting their baby’s early development. Through a combination of nurse consultations and individualized, hands-on occupational therapy, we help families understand what to expect, address concerns as they arise, and support their baby’s feeding, movement, and developmental needs.

What’s Included

Prenatal Consultation

Before your baby arrives, connect with a nurse experienced in infant care and the NICU to discuss what to expect during the newborn stage. We’ll explore common feeding questions, early developmental considerations, and ways to prepare for your baby’s arrival so you feel more informed and confident.

Postpartum Consultation

After your baby is born, you’ll have an opportunity to discuss questions or concerns that arise as you settle into life with your newborn. Whether you have questions about feeding, breastfeeding, or your own postpartum experience, this consultation provides personalized guidance and helps you identify next steps and additional support when needed.

Three In-Home Occupational Therapy & Bodywork Sessions

Your baby will receive three individualized sessions with a pediatric occupational therapist. Through gentle, hands-on techniques and developmental assessment, we look at your baby’s movement, positioning, oral motor skills, and overall developmental foundations. We help identify areas of tension, asymmetry, or difficulty that may be affecting your baby’s comfort, feeding, or movement, and provide strategies tailored to your baby’s needs.

Throughout these visits, we’ll also guide you in simple ways to support your baby’s development at home, helping you feel more confident recognizing your baby’s cues and responding to their needs.

Who Is This Package For?

This package is ideal for expecting and new parents who want guidance and support during the transition into parenthood. It may be especially helpful for families who have questions about feeding, notice a preference for turning the head to one side, observe body tension or asymmetrical movement, or simply want professional guidance as they learn about their baby’s development.

Our Approach

At Devine Therapy, we take a whole-child, family-centered approach to early development. Every baby is unique, and our goal is to understand your baby’s individual needs while empowering you with practical knowledge and support. By connecting with families before birth and continuing care during the early newborn stage, we aim to make the transition feel a little less overwhelming and help you build a strong foundation for your baby’s growth.

Your package includes one prenatal nurse consultation, one postpartum nurse consultation, and three in-home occupational therapy/bodywork sessions.

Post-NICU Transition Support Consultation

Bringing your baby home from the NICU can be an exciting but overwhelming transition. Families may have questions about feeding, positioning, development, and caring for their baby outside of the hospital setting.

Our post-NICU nurse consultation offers personalized education and support from a nurse experienced in infant and NICU care. This is an opportunity to discuss your questions, better understand your baby’s needs, and feel more confident navigating everyday care at home.

Consultation may include:

  • Guidance on transitioning from the NICU to home
  • Discussion of feeding, positioning, and everyday care concerns
  • Education about infant cues and developmental needs
  • Support identifying questions to discuss with your baby’s medical team
  • Recommendations for appropriate resources and follow-up support

Understanding the Nurse’s Role

This consultation provides education, guidance, and support for your family. It does not replace care from your baby’s pediatrician, neonatologist, lactation consultant, or other treating providers. The nurse does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace medical evaluation. Medical concerns will be directed to your baby’s healthcare provider, and urgent concerns require prompt medical attention.
